1988 - SOTW was formed on October, 31st 1988 by (singer/lyricist) - Wes Edward Waddell, (lyricist/guitarist/producer) - Barry D. Waddell AKA "Skully" and (lyricist/keyboard/engineer) - Dennis "Dr. Samurai" Ristow. The first line up included Dwayne Brier on Drums, and Clay Yeagley on Bass. 1990 - 2 cassette albums recorded and released in Tampa Bay Area only. A collection of early SOTW songs recorded at Trick-Tracks Studio in Bradenton , Florida - Engineered by Bob Fazioli & produced by SOTW. * In those first few learning, growing years, on a little industrial park street in Oneco, FL - Seasons Of The Wolf practiced 5 nights a week and held open house nights on the weekends playing live to sometimes over a hundered people packed into their studio. Down that dead end street, known to locals as "dirty street", there also practiced a band called Crimson Glory, and another band called Atheist, and yet another band called Steel Angel. Yes, indeed "dirty street" sure has one hell of a metal history. On Friday and Saturday nights every weekend the street was littered with beer cans and trash. |
